Matthew Rodano Joins Protranslating as Vice President of Strategic Alliances

MIAMI – July 26, 2016 – Protranslating, a Miami-based translation and interpretation company providing language services worldwide, today announced its hiring of Matthew Rodano as vice president of strategic alliances.

Rodano, who has more than 20 years of experience in senior management positions within the language services industry, will oversee management of and serve as a primary contact for Protranslating’s enterprise accounts and strategic partners. His work will include developing customized, long-term solutions that support the global language needs of clients and partners, while maximizing their budgets, reducing expenses, and structuring translation governance best practices and execution.

The noted industry veteran is recognized for his development of original, successful strategies that deliver winning outcomes. Prior to joining Protranslating, he served as vice president of client relations for LanguageWorks, a Ubiqus Company, and as vice president of client relations for TransPerfect Translations, where he received awards for Outstanding Client Service and Lifetime Achievement.

“As we continue to build the industry’s leading customer experience, we identified a need to create deeper partnerships with enterprise clients and partners, and we recognized that we needed to add someone with the right credentials: a client-centric mindset, deep industry acumen and high-level strategic thinking,” said Luis de la Vega, chief executive officer of Protranslating. “We are thrilled to add Matthew to the Protranslating team – not only because of his deep knowledge and experience, but also because of his skills in client relations, which closely align with our core values of providing exceptional client service.”

Rodano received his bachelor’s degree from Dickinson College in international studies and Italian studies. He is fluent in Italian and has working knowledge of French and Spanish.
